HAHA. So here's the real thing..

After intern I had been quite busy.. Work at singfest and part time for my company. Some unbearable and unreasonable and unfair things happened to my salary thus, I decided not to work for them anymore and hunt for new jobs. What for work so hard and your pay got problem? People beg you to work, work ridiculous long hours. Imagine 41hours in 3 days. How many hours did we sleep? Not to mention the fact that we had to wake up early to travel to the other end of Singapore. How nice. And this is what we get in return. Unfair treatment. A few hundred dollars different. How to laugh at it? Just say that its miscalculations and we the foolish trio who trusted you, had to suffer. And others just simply take and go. Who will accept this? Who can accept this? Our hard work, our tiredness, all these people who worked with us can see. YOU. Who pushed every single responsibilities to me, a part timer while you sit down there and claim that your computer hang. You begged us to help, yes, you did. And this is what you did. Amazing. And the worst part is, you asked me to keep this to myself. Oh, why should I do that? After all the things you have done? Really? You really think I'm so easy to be bullied? You just wait and see. This is no joke. You deserved to be punished. Don't even dream that I will ever help you again. This is my first time, its also my last time. With your working attitude, I'm surprised that you can even get this position that you are in. Simply brilliant. Continue like this, I can assure you that you will lose a lot of diligent workers under you. I'll be very happy for them to be able to escape your rubbish treatment.

Above is one of the reason why I didn't update cause I'm very irritated, frustrated, pissed, angry, annoyed, disappointed with the above situation that the mastermind. It's very clear already. So don't ask, cause I'm mad just by thinking about it. Thank you.

Next, after all the nonsense, I sort of resigned and left. Went for F1 interview and training, got the job. Someone from the F1 interview asked me to work for IT show. Hence, got another job. My friend also get me a interview at rlitz carlton.

Went for IT show training and rlitz carlton interview. Training was horrible. Had to memorise whole tons of things that I don't even know what the heck are they. Not to mention the fact that I don't even know how those things work and etc. The worst thing is I had to sell them in order to get my commission. Otherwise I can only stick to my miserable basic pay of 5 bucks. =__= Who say work is easy? If I don't have commission means I work 40hours for 200 only seems very little to me :( Had to memorise by THURSDAY. OH MY GOD.

The interview at rlitz carlton went fairly well.. Interested to hire me and friend, however the supervisor was kinda shocked to know that there are days when we can't work. Like the IT show days and F1 days and training and etc.. AND I REGRET ACCEPTING THE IT SHOW JOB. STUPID ME. :( Went for a tour around the facilities then went for me tea at subway.

Ate 4 meals today! 1st meal was at the koufu food court. I ordered hokkien prawn noodles which cost $4 but the uncle give me discount and I got a giant plate at $3! Obviously I can't finish all D: But it's great! Second meal was the subway cold cut trio... Third was mum's green bean rice~ Last is my satay supper!

I'm such a good service provider. I walk to buy the satay. I pay for it. They eat. I eat. I clear the mess -___- Such a good service provider right? TSK. Oh well, at least its one of the rare times now when the whole family get to enjoy something together. It's worth it :)

Lastly, I'm going to see a dentist tomorrow.. My small little tiny teeth don't know why there's something wrong :( Had to see dentist soon before something major happen. GOSH. Don't even wanna imagine me teethless at this age. :(

Alright Miss L. Hope this long long update full of complaints can satisfy your curiosity.

Oh, by the way.. I got new ear rings and a bracelet that can actually fit my so thin and tiny wrist! I'm so happy! My shopping buddy found them for me :) heh. I'm still hunting for a new hat & shirts. Had a wardrobe full of clothes but when I wanna go out, really, there's nothing to wear :( I need shirts! More formal kinds :/ It's time to get back to the BLOGSHOP :D

Maybe tomorrow.. Just maybe.. Don't get your hopes too high up.. I might add some amazing songs that I'm addicted to now :) (& I really wish I have time to make a new skin:/)

FRIDAY

Today is public holiday, but I still have to work.. I don't really mind since I'm given 1 public holiday leave for me to use :)

Only today then I realised that our restaurant only open half day on public holiday.. No wonder everyone started work in the afternoon.. I start at 2pm, which is considered opening..

We have quite a lot of things to do, since most of the items are 86.. Opening, due to the fact that I slept late last night and woke up early to go to temple, I'm very tired and slow. Thus, my chef say if I do with him, will slow down everything, hence he sent me to collect stuff instead :(

In the end opening stuff and most of the mise en place he did it for me. Yet when others came, he told them I did everything.. I don't know what to say..

I only did the patty, but the orders (a few) that came in, I prepared them.. Didn't do anything special.. As there are 4 of us doing closing at night, since tomorrow I had to do closing alone, they let me try while they check..

I received a book loan to me by the ex dishwasher.. Seriously have communication error with the new one.. I text him to thank him, then he called me a few times to ask about some stuff.. The other chefs keep saying that his my boyfriend. How can it be possible? Although he's only older than me by 5 years, I already had mine. He can only be a friend :)

And I hate it when they say the Mr B is my brother. He's crazy, anyhow do things, my brother is not like that.. It's like insulting my brother.. People, are just so hard to understand sometimes..

boring day @ work

Start 12, reached just nice. Slightly later.

Everything is in place.. Nothing much to do.

Took out the watermelon and show it to my chef. He start to trim it to make it easy for me to carve later.. Make some orders. Then he bake pudding. But as he was busy teaching how to carve, the first batch burnt.

We carved flowers. A bit out of shape thanks to me. -.- Its my first time so its alright.. :D

When Mr B came, we made burger patty. Do the mise en place first then after lunch we make. He mixed everything together, I'm just doing the shaping thats all. What a easy task! Then we had nothing to do. Really nothing to do except stoning, rotting, talking, staring into empty space and walking around the tiny space.

So I continue to carve my watermelon. Gave up when I see that its going to fail.. D:

Now all the service people, okay, all the guys (almost all of the outlet staff kitchen & service) called me xiao gu niang. Thanks to the dishwasher -.-" I just found out that I'm the youngest! :D No wonder they always call me little girl, ah girl all these.. SIGH. But 2 weeks I made so many friends! HAPPY~

One of the staff resigned, I thought maybe she's just slightly older than me. Guess what? She's like older than me by 10years. Gosh. Can't tell. The guys also look younger than their age. People nowadays sure know how to take care of their skin.. Haha.

The bartender who ganged up with the dishwasher, made me virgin mojito 0.0 Cause he was also bored. He's the one who scolded me on my second day, then I tell another staff that he scolded me, he say he can't remember. He half kneel and apologise to me say he was just kidding, so funny.

As I was very bored, I saw them opening the wine bottles. I said I knew how to open, they don't believe so I show it to them. Ha. They sure got a shocked. End up I help them open all, don't really mind since I had nothing else to do..

At night when I wanted to fry some nachos to standby, I realised Mr B has spoilt /wasted 5 packets of nachos. He cut them as a packet whereby I cut parts by parts. In his case, all the nachos became doubled layer. So when we fry, there will be huge bubbles in between making the nachos less appetizing. In the end, we fried those that I cut first.. And keep the rest.

The rest of the night, guess what? The dishwasher give me lessons about China. I only asked him which part of China he came from, he start to tell me a lot things. First, the map. Then he analysed the map. After that become the great creations of China, the laws, the crimes, the government hierarchy and the difference in how the words are written. Kept me entertained for awhile but its kinda ....

Anyway, that's how the day goes. It started by me carrying a 5kg plus watermelon to work and ended by me carrying a slightly lighter watermelon home.. My shoulder hurts. -.-"

1 week of holiday had passed and I haven done anything yet. Seriously need to take time management course if available cause I sucks at it. Wanted to plan but 101% I won't go according to it.. AHHHHHH! So what the point of planning in the first place right? Waste paper.. =.="

I'm looking forward to Christmas but it only mean one thing, holiday is ending. And if I don't send my resume by then, I'm dead. But I don't know where I wanna go D: Maybe I sort of have an idea but I'm rusty now :(( HELP.

materialistic

I suddenly have this extremely random question.. If enjoy buying and using branded clothes, bags and shoes, is consider materialistic.. Does choosing the nicer brand of ice cream considered materialistic too? I don't care what brand of clothes, bags or shoes I'm wearing or using.. But I do care about the brand of the ice cream.. Cause some is really a waste of money.. Haha. Not nice to easy at all.. Waste money spoil stomach.. So does that considered materialistic? I don't know why I'm so tired and sleepy still thinking of such question.. Instead of trying to solve the lemon case study.. I still don't really know how to write the recipe.. Though I've written for myself before.. -.-" And my basic entrepreneurship report, though I've submitted at least 3 weeks ago.. I still haven't receive my feedback yet.. T.T I don't want to do last minute work :(

Day 16

Despite the fact that I ended school early and reached home early, I was lazy to blog.. Haha. Plus I had so much problem which the microsoft office that don't works.. Sigh.

That's nothing much to say about day 15.. We had lecture the whole day about western cuisine.. And fabrication of meat and fish..

It started with the fabrication lecture whereby the chef demonstrate how to skin a tuna and cut it, follow by the chicken. After the fish and chicken are skinned and cut, they're were cooked :) And we "tasted" them.. Hehe.

The western lecture after lunch was very loooong.. Chef knew that we're all very tired.. So he kept giving us breaks to rest.. He even off the light so that we can sleep.. So nice of him! What is that word for sleeping after lunch? Siesta?

I realised that every time I sit at the front row, I will end up falling asleep.. However, its I'm at the back row, I'm very energetic and able to see everything.. Next time I must fight for the back row at the center.. Haha..

I'm so bored that I've decided to post again.. Haha.. Recently when I went out to purchase some items, I realised I will always get some extra items.. I do use them so its not actually wasting money.. But I spent more than expected.. -.-"

Anyway.. So I went to buy some socks for school.. 3 for $10, compared to 2 for $4.. Its quite expensive.. Luckily, it covered my ankle! If not I have to buy again.. Now I just need some black hair clip & black rubber band.. Even though the requirements are very strict, we looked very professional & smart in our uniform.. We all looked different in our uniform in a nice way of course..

I've finally memorised 75% of the names we were supposed to know.. Courtesy is very important even if its not in the kitchen. I'll just have to know the rest now plus what we're learning on MONDAY! I'm so excited! Yeah, I know I've said it alot of times.. Haha! The first thing we're learning is knife skills - how to cut vegetables and some other food products.. Let's just hope they will not test us anything regarding food science & product knowledge cause I haven't done any revision since semester 1 in year 1..

Just to get ready for the dining experience with chef/tutor, I decided to try more different type of food & drinks. Haha.. I'm too skinny anyway :P For a starter, I bought peach & mango tea from Lipton :) Hopefully its nice.. I wonder Lipton or Twinnings tea taste better? Should learn to differentiate food of the same kind..
I also bought Cadbury hot chocolate drink. Hehe XD. Recently I can't resist chocolate, I think I need to control my diet now.. Unless I wanna be a victim of diabetes.. -.-"

Tried cheesy mushroom puff today.. Unlike its name, it wasn't cheesy at all.. But i must say the mushroom tasted good even though its very little.. It goes well with the sauce, even though I have no idea what sauce is that.. The puff wasn't too oily too. The appearance looks appealing & taste was quite alright so overall is quite good.. If I can locate the cheese, I think it will be better.. Haha!

Last but definitely not the least, I wanna try all type of ice cream!!!! :D
