I forgot to mention that yesterday we cooked in the skills kitchen.. Dishes: Chicken stock (white stock) and beef/veal stock (brown stock).. Cooking process.. Hmmm.. It was alright..
Okay. So today we had a few lecture on soups, broths and consomme. Then we went to the skills kitchen to do what chef demostrates.. Onion soup, chicken broth, white&blond&brown roux and clarified butter..
The roux was a failure.. Sigh. Not enough time to make.. Onion soup was alright just required more cheese and chicken broth was almost perfect.. Hehe.. Today was so tired.. I think I include the details next time..
I'm so happy that today there's no homework! Finally can get more rest..
